As of December 31, 2017, Zhong Capital's AUM reached RMB 5 Billion in total, with a variety of asset types under management: venture capital, private equity, M&A, and industrial funds. Ms. Guo, Jia (Cindy) founded several investment fund brands, incl. Ventech China and Zhong Capital etc., which have been investing in and cultivating new-generation and high-potential businesses in TMT, high-tech, life sciences, culture and media, financial innovation. Ms. Guo, widely involved in exchange and collaborations with academic institutions and industrial groups in Europe, U.S. and Asia, is contributing actively to building China's intellectual property transfer platform. Ms. Guo led Ventech China USD Fund (Vintage 2007) to win the global top-10 return funds ranked by the UK Preqin. Ms. Guo led investment and successfully exited CMGE (NASDAQ: CMGE), JUMEI (NYSE: JMEI), China Binary (HKEX: 8255), SECOO (NASDAQ: SECO), JIMU Finance (HKEX: 8187), HE LI CHEN GUANG (NEEQ: 836201), VIVA (NEEQ: 870672), EASOU (NEEQ: 870926), WISEMEDIA (NEEQ: 834990), Qiandai.com (sold to Dianping), Baicheng.com (NEEQ: 836925, sold to Alibaba) and 51wan (sold to MI). Before founding the investment funds, Ms. Guo had been Managing Director in Ascend Capital Partners for 6 years. She led the team to work on venture capital investment and financial advisory services mainly in areas of telecommunications, media, technology innovation, automotive manufacturing, and health care. Her investment portfolios there included UUSee, ACORN (NYSE: ATV), NVC (HKEX: 2222), Chengdu Tonglin Casting, Qingdao Jiante, Beautiful Flowers, Little Nurse and Jiangsu Trusts etc. Before she started her career as a professional investor, Ms. Guo had served at Hongtianque Information Technology Corp. as Vice President, responsible for exchange and collaboration of Global CTO Forum. In the meantime, she led the development of a trading engine based on the Fix Protocol (Financial Information Exchange Protocol) to connect and enable the US exchanges and HKEX AM3 mechanism. It greatly helped Hong Kong's financial market in bridging loopholes in trading mechanism and avoiding the risk of quick and frequent hedging by international financial oligarchies in Hong Kong market. Right after graduation from university, Ms. Guo, as Beijing Representative for Sunshine Group (SSE: 600220), assisted in communication, project financing and international cooperation between the Group and the central government. Ms. Guo is also Expert Judge for China National Intellectual Property Platform and an associate of Shanghai Youth Federation of Finance. Ms. Guo graduated from China Central University of Finance and Economics with dual Bachelor's degree in International Finance and International Accounting. During work time, Ms. Guo attended Harvard Business School, Oxford University, Cheung Kong Graduate School of Business.
